ST. PAUL, Minn. — One person has died and two others have been injured in a shooting in St. Paul’s Frogtown neighborhood.

Officers who were in the neighborhood on unrelated calls reported hearing about 10 gunshots around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. They found three victims, including a man who died at the scene. The two others were taken to Regions Hospital.

St. Paul Sgt. Mike Ernster says the two survivors are expected to recover. Ernster says the shooting is not believed to be a random incident.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine an exact cause of death and positively identify the victim.
