DELANCO, N.J. — Officials have recovered a body during their search for a missing swimmer.

New Jersey State Police say the body was found Wednesday night in the Delaware River in Delanco Township.

Marine units from New Jersey and Pennsylvania were scouring the area after they were notified by a friend of the missing swimmer.

State police say they cannot confirm the identity of the body found.
