Labor Day weekend closings:
» Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles license branches will be closed Saturday through Monday. Branches will resume their regularly scheduled business hours Tuesday. For more information or to complete an online transaction, visit myBMV.com.
» Columbus City Hall is closed Monday
» The Bartholomew County Courthouse is closed Monday.
» The Columbus City Utilities will be closed Monday. Regular business hours resume Tuesday at 8 a.m. Customers having a problem with water or sewer service should call 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.
» There will be no Columbus city trash collection or recycling/bush or compost collection on Monday. Collections will run one day behind city customers regularly scheduled day, with Sept. 9 collections made Sept. 10. All toters should be in place at 7 a.m.
» The Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center and Bartholomew County Solid Waste Management District Office located at 720 S. Mapleton St., are closed Monday.
» The Bartholomew County Landfill at 811 E. County Road 450S is closed Monday.
