Barbara K. Marshall, 66, of Columbus, passed away at 9:20 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed sewing. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and retired after 33 years from Dorel, where she worked in the sewing department.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Roy Hendershot officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday.
Burial will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or Walker Chapel.

Mrs. Marshall was born July 8, 1950, in Columbus to Richard L. and Naomi R. Ritter Merriman.
She married Dennis R. Marshall Sr. on June 5, 1970. He preceded her in death April 16, 2005.
Survivors include her mother, Naomi R. Merriman of Columbus; a son, Dennis R. (Deana Lovins) Marshall Jr.; daughter, Robin E. (Mike Hadley) Marshall of Columbus; grandchildren, Miley Littrell and Macey Burton; siblings, Janet (Frank) Farley, Rick (Pam) Merriman, Pamela (Roger) Lucas, Patty Merriman, Ronnie (Karen) Merriman and Louella Brumfield, all of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her father, her husband and a sister, Carol Petro.
