Eagles sweep Cougars
NASHVILLE — Brown County survived a close first set, then went on to post a 25-23, 25-12, 25-18 win against South Decatur on Thursday.
Shea Keller led the Eagles with eight kills and four blocks. Madalyn Allen recorded 14 assists, Ryanne Smith had nine digs and Maggie Redmond served three aces.
For the Cougars, Brooke Helms pounded five kills, Taylor Best tallied five assists, Delanie Diekhoff had one solo and two assist blocks, Kayla Carder posted 14 digs and Zoey Nobbe served two aces.
