CORALVILLE, Iowa — Two people are recovering after being shot at a Coralville apartment complex.

Cedar Rapids television station KCRG reports (http://bit.ly/2cxM8NB ) that police were called to the apartment on 5th Street on Friday afternoon for reports of several shots fired.

Police say that by the time officers arrived at the scene, two victims had already been taken by others to a hospital.

Both victims are expected to survive.

Police have not announced any arrests, but say the shooting was not random and believe both the suspects and victims knew each other.
