WADING RIVER, N.Y. — The Coast Guard is searching for two men missing in the Long Island Sound off New York.

Coast Guard officials received a report at 3:30 p.m. Saturday of three men who slipped into the water while fishing in Wading River on the North Shore of Long Island.

One of the men was able to grab a rock and pull himself onto the shore, but the other two are missing.

Local police and fire officials are assisting the Coast Guard in the search.
