Patricia Sue Foist, 75, of Taylorsville, passed from this life at 6:55 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2016, at Kindred Transitional Care & Rehabilitation Center in Columbus.
Mrs. Foist was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Christian Church and Ladies of the Moose. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, painting and cooking.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at New Hope Christian Church with John Sichting officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street and noon to time of service Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Mrs. Foist was born March 27, 1941, in Seymour to Robert and Helen Boknecht Trueblood. She married Jack D. Foist July 19, 1959.
Survivors include her husband, Jack, of 57 years; her children, Gretta (Barry) Hoover of Columbus, Angela (Fred) Bailey of Columbus and Eric (Angela) Foist of North Vernon; grandchildren, Taylor Hoover, Meghan, Hannah, Sophie and Jacob Bailey and Erica (Amanda) Foist; a brother, William (Cindy) Trueblood of Gary; and a half-brother, Paul Richard (Candy) Trueblood of Seymour.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Loretta McFarren.
