Wilbert and Shirley Ann Carr of Columbus celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at a family outing hosted by their children.
They were married Sept. 2, 1956, at the Methodist Church in Austin by the Rev. Howard Wardrip.
Mr. Carr retired from Cummins Inc. and is employed at the Lowe’s Garden Shop.
Mrs. Carr is a homemaker

The couple have three children, Jeffrey L., Michael G. and Todd A. Carr, as well as five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
