Wilbur and Henrietta McDonald of Columbus will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at an open house to be hosted by their family from 2 to 5 p.m. Sept. 17 at New Zion Methodist Church on County Road 550W.
Mr. McDonald and the former Henrietta Webster were married Sept. 15, 1956, at the Church of God in Fontanet by Mr. McDonald’s father, Acel McDonald.
Mr. McDonald retired from Cummins Inc. and Mrs. McDonald is a homemaker.
The couple have three children, Acel McDonald of Indianapolis, Kirk McDonald of Columbus and Eric McDonald of Nashville, and six grandchildren.
