FEASTERVILLE-TREVOSE, Pa. — Investigators say a trailer fire near Philadelphia that left one man dead appears to have been caused by careless smoking and extreme clutter.

The fire broke out in the Feasterville-Trevose trailer park Monday morning. Authorities say crews arrived to find the trailer completely consumed by flames.

Police say the body of a 56-year-old man was found inside the kitchen area of the trailer. His name wasn’t immediately released.

Police said in a statement the homeowner appears to have been a “hoarder,” which helped fuel the fire.

The fire didn’t spread to other homes.

Officials say a firefighter was taken to a hospital with minor injuries after falling through the floor of the trailer.
