CHEYENNE, Wyo. — There were no fatal crashes on Wyoming highways over the long holiday weekend.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol says its troopers conducted nearly 1,700 traffic stops on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The stops resulted in the arrests for six impaired drivers.
The patrol says it investigated 73 crashes, including 15 that involved injury and 58 that involved property damage only.
By comparison, during the Labor Day weekend in 2015, Wyoming saw 122 crashes that resulted in three fatalities and 45 injuries.
