WEYBRIDGE, Vt. — Vermont State Police are searching for a missing peacock and other fowl that were stolen from a locked barn in the town of Weybridge.

Police say the owner of the peacock also reported he lost two roosters and two 30-gallon feed bins that were full of grain for his livestock.

The victim, 82-year-old Armond Brisson, reported the thefts that occurred overnight Saturday after hearing a report that five chickens were recently stolen elsewhere in Addison County.

Jessy Amblo, of Ferrisburgh, tells The Burlington Free Press (http://bfpne.ws/2chvSPZ ) that his birds were taken overnight Friday.

Police have ruled out predators.

Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call state police.
