SEATTLE — A 27-year-old man is being held on $1 million bail in connection with a shooting that left one man dead in Kent over the Labor Day weekend.
KOMO-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2cn6OEx ) that officers arrested the suspect early Sunday after responding to a residence to reports of shots fired. Court documents say the man was found outside the home with blood on his clothes and a handgun in his waistband.
Police found the victim, Huy Huynh, inside the home with a gunshot wound to the head. He died at the scene.
Court records say the suspect told police he had gotten into an argument with Huynh, retrieved a gun and then fired at him three times.
The suspect is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
