BILLINGS, Mont. — A 39-year-old man has been accused of robbing a Billings credit union with a semi-automatic handgun.

Billings police say David Lee Brown Jr. went to Valley Federal Credit Union on Wednesday and took $2,750.

Brown and a woman believed to be his wife were identified as suspects and tracked down to their Billings home.

Brown told officers he stole the money because he was using meth, and he owed money for drugs. He has been charged with felony robbery with weapons enhancement and felony tampering with evidence.
