Mason Whipker of Columbus was named the Bartholomew County winner of the 4-H Bright Futures Award by Green Leaf Inc., 4-H Youth Development and Rural Lifestyle Retailer Tractor Supply Company.
Whipker is a member of the SRC Farmers Jr./Sr. 4-H Club. He was selected for the award as this year’s grand champion in gardening. He received a $25 Visa gift card and plaque for being named Bartholomew County’s 4-H Bright Futures Award winner.
The 4-H Bright Future program recognizes outstanding youth in 4-H Youth Development agricultural programs.
