WILLISTON, N.D. — Charges have been dismissed against a North Dakota woman accused of sexually abusing a boy.

Twenty-six-year-old Watford City resident Jada Xanders was charged late last year with one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child. Authorities alleged she performed sexual acts with a boy younger than 15.

The Williston Herald reports (http://bit.ly/2cfqkmM ) that authorities dismissed the charge this summer. Prosecutor Jake Rodenbiker said there wasn’t enough “available admissible evidence” to get a conviction.

The case could be opened again.
