BOURNEMOUTH, England — Callum Wilson’s first goal since 2015 helped Bournemouth beat West Bromwich Albion 1-0 for its first win in this English Premier League on Saturday.

Wilson, who missed much of the 2015-16 season with a knee injury, was on hand to flick the ball past Ben Foster in the West Brom goal in the 79th minute.

West Brom failed to create any real threats for the Bournemouth defense. Its fans will hope that the lack of goal-scoring potency isn’t a sign of things to come, given its lack of goals last season.
