Irvin and Martha Mayes of Hope celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchild with a dinner at The Pines in Seymour.
Mr. Mayes and the former Martha Moore were married Sept. 10, 1966, by the Rev. Everett Hayes.
Mr. Mayes is retired from Cummins Inc.
Mrs. Mayes is a homemaker.

The couple have two children, Lisa Bailey and Kathy Hill; three granchildren; and one great-grandchild.
