Russell and Donna Fritz of Freetown recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a trip through southern Indiana, dinner at Key West Shrimp House in Madison and an afternoon of antique shopping.
Mr. Fritz and the former Donna Anderson were married Aug. 31, 1956, at Freetown Church of Christ by Marion Ellis.
Mrs. Fritz retired from Cummins Inc. and formerly worked at Arvin Industries and as a freelance writer for The Republic, The Tribune and The Banner.
Mr. Fritz retired after 42 years as owner of Neal Paint and Wallpaper in Columbus.

The couple have four children, Craig (Kathy) Fritz of Brownstown, Eric Fritz of Columbus and Wayne (Sherri) Fritz and Charlene Mellencamp, both of Freetown; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
