DOVER, Del. — Dover Police have arrested a woman in a carjacking.

The department says in a news release that on Sunday afternoon, a 65-year-old woman was sitting in a parked car near East Loockerman and Federal streets.

Officers say 26-year-old Ryadae Jones got into the car, turned on the ignition and began to drive. Police say the victim struggled with Jones and was able to put the car in park.

Authorities say Jones took the car keys and ran away. Police arrested her a short time later.

Jones is charged with carjacking, theft and offensive touching.
