ST. CLOUD, Minn. — A St. Cloud man has pleaded guilty to setting a fire last month at St. Cloud Public Library.

Forty-seven-year-old Jorge Ozornia pleaded guilty Monday to one count of first-degree arson. The St. Cloud Times ( ) reports sentencing is set for Nov. 21.

Ozornia was accused of starting a fire on a chair on the second floor of the library on Aug. 17 and feeding it with pages torn from a book.

According to the complaint, Ozornia told two people who were watching him fan the flames that they should call the police.

The fire damaged flooring, walls and furniture and also caused damage from smoke and soot. The library remains closed while cleanup continues.
