NEW YORK — New York City police have arrested a woman in connection with the theft of a pocketbook from an 85-year-old woman in a wheelchair.

Police said Tuesday that Adrianne Terry, of the Bronx, was arrested on grand larceny charges. It wasn’t clear if she had a lawyer who could comment.

Surveillance video shows the victim sitting in a wheelchair Sunday afternoon in the Bronx neighborhood of Tremont when another woman walks by, grabs her pocketbook and runs off.

Police say the purse had money and a bank card. Video later shows the suspect throwing an object into a trash can.

Police say the victim wasn’t hurt.
