LEMOYNE, Pa. — Flames have consumed a Pennsylvania lumber yard.

The massive blaze broke out Monday night at Lafferty and Co. Inc. in Lemoyne, just across the Susquehanna (suhs-kwuh-HAN’-uh) River from Harrisburg.

Firefighters at the scene reported several buildings on fire.

Smoke and flames lit up the night sky and could be seen from Harrisburg.

There’s no immediate word on any injuries.

Surrounding roads were closed and power outages were reported in the area.

It’s unclear what sparked the fire.
