BALTIMORE — Police in Baltimore say two people are dead and six people injured in shootings in the city Friday evening.

Police say the two people who died are both men. One was 25 and the other 43.

Police say the 43-year-old man died following a shooting in the 700 block of Mello Court around 9 p.m. Friday.

Police say the 25-year-old arrived at a hospital seeking treatment Friday evening and later died. Another man who walked into a hospital around the same time, a 32-year-old man, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say another shooting happened in the 300 block of East 22nd Street, where a 27-year-old man was found shot. Police say two people involved in shootings on Ready Avenue, a 26-year-old male and a 19=year-old female, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
