SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — A teenage mother was fatally shot in her Schenectady home, and police have arrested the victim’s boyfriend in the killing.

Seventeen-year-old Medina Knowles was shot in the head at 11:30 p.m. Thursday.

The Times Union of Albany reports (http://bit.ly/2cP3i7y ) that 19-year-old ReaQwan Stover was arrested Saturday on charges of second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

It’s not clear if Stover has an attorney who could speak for him.

Police say Knowles and Stover were dating.

Knowles was a high school student and the mother of a 2-year-old son.
