ANDERSON, S.C. — Police have made one arrest and are looking for another suspect in a home invasion in Anderson that left a teenager dead.

Lt. Tony Tilley of the Anderson Police Department tells local news outlets that 21-year-old Tavis Marquis Jackson of Abbeville is charged with first-degree burglary and may face additional charges the incident early Thursday morning.

Police allege that Jackson was with 17-year-old Demacio Robertson of Greenwood when they entered a home. Robertson was shot from behind a bedroom door and killed by one of the residents of the home in what police say was a justifiable homicide.

Authorities say a third person is thought to have been with Jackson and Robertson.

Jackson is in jail and it was not immediately known if he had an attorney.
