What to watch for: The Highlanders have been up and down this season, playing one of Kentucky’s top teams, Louisville Male, tough for three quarters to begin the season, but falling to Seymour. Floyd Central bounced back last week with a surprisingly easy 35-7 win against Jeffersonville. The Class 5A No. 5 Olympians are making their second trip to Floyd County in as many weeks after routing New Albany last week.

Coaches: Tim Bless is 121-86 in his 19th year, including 109-77 in his 17th year at North; Chris Barrett is 93-126 in his 22nd year, including 65-94 in his 15th year at Terre Haute North

What to watch for: The Class 6A No. 5 Bull Dogs are coming off back-to-back shutouts for the first time since blanking Perry Meridian and Pike the final two weeks of the 2004 regular season. Columbus North also is off to its first 5-0 start since 2007 and will look for its first 6-0 start since 2003. Terre Haute North has won two of three since falling to state-ranked 5A teams Castle (by one point) and Plainfield the first two weeks.
