JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville man has been sentenced to life in prison for stabbing another man several times outside of a convenience store in 2014.

The Florida Times-Union (https://goo.gl/B5vpuY ) reports that 50-year-old Adam was sentenced Friday. He was convicted in May of attempted second-degree murder with a weapon

The State Attorney’s Office says Ingles and the unidentified victim got into an argument outside of the store in June 2014. Authorities say Ingles pulled out a knife and stabbed the man multiple times in the neck and stomach before fleeing the scene.

Officers later found the victim bleeding on a sidewalk. The man recovered from his injuries.
