Cory Parker has worked festival-oriented food booths ever since he was a teen, traveling throughout Indiana and Ohio with a carnival for several years.
So Saturday’s Finish On Fourth After Party downtown was the perfect setting for the Columbus Bar employee, working a vendor stand near The Commons.
“I’ve always loved the idea of slinging food,” Parker said.
Early in the day, he predicted the establishment’s Memphis nachos — “definitely big enough for sharing” — would be the real winner on the menu. But the pulled pork sandwiches also have been popular in the past when he has fed thousands at the post-race gathering.
