Marathon spectator: Raymond Primus

Full marathon runner Raymond Primus, a Cummins employee from Indianapolis, had a large cheering section waiting for him at the start — and again at miles 5, 11 and 17.

His wife Yuiko Primus, and sons Will, 5, and Owen, 1, traveled along the course with a large orange sign that said “Go Daddy Go,” displayed prominently as he ran by, propped into a stroller.

It was orange, matching the family’s orange Jeep.

“And we have a cowbell,” she said as the family waited at Mile 17 near Columbus Municipal Airport.
