WAUKESHA, Wis. — Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence is coming to the same conservative Wisconsin city the day before Donald Trump.
Pence’s campaign says the Indiana governor will hold a rally Tuesday night in Waukesha. Trump is slated to be there Wednesday.
This will be the second time Pence has come to Waukesha since Trump picked him as his running mate. Pence’s first stop as the vice presidential nominee was also in the city outside of Milwaukee this summer.
Pence is holding a rally at Weldall Manufacturing on Tuesday, the day after Trump debates Democrat Hillary Clinton in New York. Trump’s Waukesha rally is at the Waukesha County Expo Center.
The Marquette University Law School poll released last week showed the race between Trump and Clinton to be about even in Wisconsin.
This story has been corrected to show the name of the business Pence is visiting is Weldall Manufacturing.
