Dona Louise Minneman of Indianapolis passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016, from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease. She was 83 years old.
Dona was born in Greensburg, Indiana, on February 24, 1933, to James “Babe” and Dorothy Jones.
In addition to her parents, Dona was preceded in death by her brothers, James “Bob,” Gene and Maurice Jones, and a sister; Frances Stanley.
She is survived by her children, Dalton Russell Minneman, Douglas W. Minneman and his wife Tina Marie, Diana Lynn Schnurpel and her husband Steven, and David Laverne Minneman. Also surviving is one sister, Sherry Ponsler and her husband James; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Dona will be conducted at noon Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at Hendryx Mortuary, Cumberland Chapel, 11636 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, with visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will immediately follow the funeral service at South Park Cemetery, 405 S. East Street, Greensburg, Indiana.
