NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — When people think about visiting the South Carolina coast, Charleston, Myrtle Beach and the Beaufort area generally come to mind. But North Charleston wants folks to know what it has to offer, so it’s launched a new tourism website.

The site, , provides information about an array of attractions from shopping to attractions.

Visitors to the site can find out about sights ranging from the lab where the Confederate submarine Hunley is being restored to the Charleston Navy Base Memorial and events at the North Charleston Coliseum.

There’s also information about the Park Circle dining district, the Tanger Oulet Mall and the city performing arts center.

The Charleston International Airport is located in North Charleston and the city has 7,000 hotel and motel rooms.
