Crew Car Wash is partnering with Gleaners Good Bank for a fundraiser this weekend with the company’s Columbus location at 1525 N. National Road participating.
The second annual Hungercrew event will provide a free FastWax car wash to any customer who donates a canned food item or who makes a cash donation.
Hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
At its inaugural event last year, Crew raised $22,000 from its central Indiana locations and donated more than 3,000 pounds of canned goods to Gleaners Food Bank. The donated canned goods translated to a wholesale dollar amount of more than $5,000, and the combined proceeds of the day enabled Gleaners to supply 68,500 meals for Hoosiers in need.
