Bean Blossom
Luther M. “Bud” Smith, 87, of Bean Blossom, died Friday morning, Sept. 30, 2016, at his home.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Barbara Ellen Critser Smith; children, Andrea Lee (Scott) Hall of Fort Wayne, Kristy Lynn (Grant) Stuart of Nashville and Luther M. “Buddy” (Sheri) Smith Jr. of Bean Blossom; siblings, Lueallin Pate of Morgantown and Donna (Keith) Rhodes of Martinsville; and 10 grandchildren.
The Rev. Phil Meadows will conduct a funeral service at 10 a.m. Monday at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 5802 N. Old Settlers Road, Bean Blossom. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown. Burial with military rites will be at Mount Nebo Cemetery in Martinsville.
