MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police say two men were hurt when their high-speed boat crashed into a Lake Michigan break wall.
The crash happened around 11 p.m. Friday near McKinley Marina. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (http://bit.ly/2daTWTk ) reports the men suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the men were operating a 32-foot, 2015 Regal power boat at high speed when they smashed into the break wall. Passengers aboard a nearby power boat dropped their skiff into the water, picked up the men and took them to the marina where Milwaukee Fire Department personnel were waiting.
Investigators say the men are under investigation for operating while intoxicated. The names of the men were not released.
