BALTIMORE — Baltimore County authorities say one man is dead and two others injured after a violent home invasion in Rosedale.

Police were called to a home on Rossville Boulevard about 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

Offices found 61-year-old Stanley Anthony Lane suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was taken to an area hospital, where he died.

Police also found a 23-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body and a 61-year-old man suffering from wounds to his head. Both men were transported to area hospitals for treatment.

Authorities say an unknown number of suspects entered the home, shot two of the victims, assaulted a third, then fled.
