Jerad Burbrink

Jerad Lee Burbrink, 39, of Jonesville, passed away Friday, October 7, 2016, at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis. Born October 14, 1976, in Columbus, he was the son of Curtis L. and Jerri R. (Wheeler) Burbrink.

Jerad was a member of The Point Church in Seymour. He was a 1995 graduate of Columbus East High School and earned an associate degree in computer science at Ivy Tech. He had worked at Rose Acres, Columbus Container, and most recently, Rightway Fasteners. Jerad enjoyed listening to his collection of music, spending time fishing and watching sports, especially NASCAR. He had a deep love for his nieces and nephews and really enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his parents, Curt and Jerri Burbrink of Columbus; brothers, Justin Burbrink and his wife Laura, and Joel Burbrink and his wife Becky, all of Columbus; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Delores Wheeler of Seymour; nieces and nephews, Beau, Brayden, Brooklyn, Brock, Kingen and Ava June Burbrink; aunts and uncles, Don and Jane Dunnington of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Royd and Lisa Wheeler, Robin and Cathy Wheeler and Roger and Karol Wheeler, all of Seymour. Jerad also leaves behind several cousins and friends.

Jerad joined his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and June Burbrink; uncle, Rex Damon Wheeler; and cousin, Rex Alan Wheeler, in heaven.

Pastor Steve Greene will conduct funeral services at 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at The Point. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 p.m. until service time at the church. Private family burial will be Thursday at Riverview Cemetery.
