Donna F. Hester, 69, of Columbus, died at 4:09 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2016, at her home.
Mrs. Hester was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.
She operated a day care center out of her home for over 30 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at noon Thursday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with Father Andy Syberg officiating.
Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. to time of service Thursday at the church.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Mrs. Hester was born January 30, 1947, in Milan, Indiana, to Philmer and Bessie Bowling Meisberger.
Survivors include her husband, Robert W. Hester; her children, Michelle (William Litzy) Eder of Columbus, Melissa (Charles) Davis of Shelbyville, Bernard Eder of Lawrence, Massachusetts, Shawn (Shannon Bowling) Eder of Columbus, Marci (David Weber) Harkless of Edinburgh and Eric Hester of Columbus; sisters, Billie Aleen Bailey of Indianapolis, Minnie (Louis) Brugger of Greenwood, Thelma Sue Sauter of Fort Myers, Florida, her twin, Dianna K. (Tom) Poole of Anderson and Beth Ann Cumberworth of Butlerville; 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Jean Farrell, Mary Jo and Judy Dell; and a grandson, B.J. Harkless.
