TOPEKA, Kan. — Authorities say a 27-year-old man has been arrested in a road rage killing in Topeka.
Topeka police said in a news release early Wednesday that the suspect was arrested Tuesday and booked into jail on suspicion of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.
Police say a “road rage argument” over “traffic maneuvers” led to the shooting of 28-year-old Michael Stadler as he rode in vehicle Saturday. Stadler died later at a hospital.
The release said the people involved didn’t know each other before the shooting. Police said additional arrests are possible.
