COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Four people will face trial on murder charges in connection with a Colorado Springs home invasion that left a 28-year-old woman dead.

The Gazette reports ( ) that a judge determined Friday there was enough evidence to charge three men and one woman in the fatal shooting of Courtney Beaudette. The suspects, ages 18 through 20, have been ordered held without bond and are scheduled for an arraignment next month.

The male suspects are accused of breaking into Beaudette’s apartment on June 1.

Prosecutors say the group had entered the home after the female suspect told them she had been hurt by a man who lived at the residence.

Court documents show Beaudette was shot in front of her 5-year-old son.
