ATHENS, Ala. — Limestone County sheriff’s deputies say an Athens man accused of sexually abusing a 5-year-old child is facing an additional charge for the same offense with an 8-year-old girl. ( reports an affidavit filed by investigator Leslie Ramsey says 48-year-old Rex Allen Locke allegedly forcing the first victim to touch him inappropriately.

Deputies began investigating the case when the child’s mother called authorities last week.

After Locke was arrested and placed into Limestone County Jail on $50,000 bail on Wednesday, investigators said another victim came forward.

Locke has been charged with the second count of sexual abuse of a child on Monday. He remains at Limestone County Jail.

Online jail records do not list an attorney for him.
