Beulah Mae Branstetter, 88, of Columbus, formerly of Jennings County, died at 2:05 p.m. October 19, 2016, at Silver Oaks Health Campus.

Beulah was born September 29, 1928, in Columbus, the daughter of Clarence and Sebie Conrad Snyder. She married Howard Dale Branstetter June 16, 1944. He preceded her in death October 27, 2013.

She enjoyed being a mother and homemaker, doing needle work, sewing and artwork. Beulah loved playing music, especially the guitar and organ.

Beulah and her husband were members of Garden City Church of Christ.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, October 24, 2016, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Bryan Gilroy officiating. Calling hours will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Garden City Church of Christ or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Survivors include her children, Edward (Mary) Branstetter of Taylorsville, Kathryn (Terry) Wisdom of Columbus, Brenda (Mike) Engelking of Huntsville, Alabama, Rick (Becky) Branstetter of Scipio and Marvin (Darlene) Branstetter of Elizabethtown; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale; brothers, Marvin Snyder and Joe Snyder; a sister, Betty Moore; and a grandson, Stephen Wisdom.
