Animals from Animal Care Services can be adopted during an event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Petco in Columbus, 1337 N. National Road.
Dogs and cats will be available to meet and greet with the public.
The adoption event is Columbus North student Kyra Gates’ senior project. It’s also intended to help with Animal Care Services’ needs, through donations of animal and cleaning supplies and monetary donations. Examples of needed supplies are: bleach, paper towels, kitten food and scoopable cat litter.
