Drug overdose awareness and information sessions for the community are planned for 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Jennings County Middle School, 820 W. Walnut St., North Vernon.
The purpose is to inform residents about drug overdose issues facing Jennings County. Presenters include: Jennings County First Responders, Recovering Addicts/NA/AA, local treatment providers, Jennings County Health Department and Overdose Lifeline.
Pizza and drinks will be provided, along with activities for children ages 3 to 10. Door prizes and pre-registration prizes will be drawn at the end of the evening.
