Walking tour traces steps to public art

Landmark Columbus and Healthy Communities are partnering to host a Public Art Walking Tour at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

The free event is part of Walktober, a campaign in Columbus during October to encourage residents to enjoy walking.

The 2-mile tour begins at the Bartholomew County Public Library plaza near the Large Arch sculpture and ends at Jean Tinguely’s kinetic sculpture Chaos 1. It will feature 25 works of international, national, regional and local artists. The route will take about an hour and a half.

To participate, register at facebook.com/landmarkcolumbus. Space is limited for the event.
