This is the first time I have ever sent a letter to the editor, but I cannot keep silent after the Oct. 19 presidential debate. As a Christian, I could never in good conscience vote for a presidential candidate who supports the barbaric procedure of partial-birth abortion. In my view, all of the other issues that have been debated pale in comparison to that one issue.
How anyone could read Psalm 139 and doubt the Lord’s view on this issue is beyond me. How could the Lord say he knows someone before their birth unless he is speaking of a human being, no matter how small, who is created in his image? The 50 million-plus abortions under Roe v. Wade make Hitler’s Reich look mild by comparison.
