Robert Lee Cox, 85, of Indianapolis, died at 12:22 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2016, at Altenheim Health and Living Facility.
Mr. Cox was born in Columbus, Indiana, December 7, 1930, to the late William and Ruth Taylor Cox.
He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his sister, Wilma Reading of Indianapolis; brothers, Ronald (Diane) Cox of Indianapolis, Donald (Jill) Cox of Tampa, Florida, and David (Tyna) Cox of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Francis L. Cox and William E. Cox; a brother-in-law, Claud Reading; and a nephew, Kevin Reading.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, October 27, 2016, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Richard Salazar officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
