The East Columbus Community Trunk or Treat and cookout will be 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Anderson Community Center, 421 McClure St.
The block party is for all ages and will include a hot dog cookout, snacks and trunk or treating from decorated cars. There will be opportunities to learn about the State Street Area Association’s neighborhood programs, a bookmobile staff puppet show and story time, visits from Columbus police, firefighters and the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department and activities with the Safe Kids Coalition.
